Overview

This 3-day journey invites you to discover Aswan, Egypt’s peaceful southern gem and the true gateway to Nubia. Known for its calm Nile scenery, granite landscapes, and rich Nubian heritage, Aswan offers a unique blend of ancient history and living culture, far from the crowds of Egypt’s larger cities.

Your experience begins with Aswan’s most iconic landmarks, starting with the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis and set gracefully on an island surrounded by the Nile. You will also explore the Aswan High Dam, a symbol of modern Egypt, and visit the Unfinished Obelisk, still resting in its ancient quarry and revealing the impressive techniques used by ancient Egyptians to carve massive monuments.

Beyond temples and monuments, this tour highlights Nubian life and traditions. You will sail the Nile on a traditional felucca, enjoying peaceful views of river islands, palm-lined banks, and golden desert hills. A visit to a Nubian village offers a closer look at local life, colorful homes, and traditions that have been preserved for generations.
