Your adventure begins in Luxor, often described as the world’s greatest open-air museum.

 On the East Bank, you will explore Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex ever built in ancient Egypt, followed by Luxor Temple, an important ceremonial site connected to ancient festivals and royal rituals.

Crossing to the West Bank, you will step into the world of the pharaohs at the Valley of the Kings, visit the impressive Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and stop at the towering Colossi of Memnon.

Your Luxor experience continues with visits to Medinet Habu, one of Egypt’s best-preserved mortuary temples, and the Ramesseum, the grand memorial temple of Ramses II.

The journey then leads south to Aswan, a city known for its relaxed atmosphere, stunning Nile scenery, and rich Nubian heritage. Here, you will visit the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, the impressive Aswan High Dam, and the remarkable Unfinished Obelisk.

A highlight of the tour is a traditional felucca sail on the Nile. Your journey concludes with a visit to Elephantine Island, home to ancient ruins and a fascinating museum that sheds light on Aswan’s long history.

Itinerary

  • Upon your arrival in Luxor, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional representative at the airport or your arrival point, holding a sign with your name to ensure a smooth and seamless start to your journey from the very first moment.

     

  • You will then begin your guided exploration of Luxor’s East Bank.

     

  • Start with Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex ever built in ancient Egypt, famous for its massive columns, towering pylons, and sacred lake that once played a key role in ancient rituals.

     

  • Continue to Luxor Temple, an important ceremonial site located in the heart of the city, known for its elegant reliefs, grand courtyards, and historical connection to ancient festivals.

     

  • After completing the visits, enjoy lunch at a carefully selected local restaurant, where you will have the opportunity to taste traditional Egyptian dishes and experience authentic local flavors.

     

  • Later, you will be transferred to your hotel in Luxor. Our representative will assist you with the check-in process and ensure all accommodation details are smoothly arranged.

     

  • Overnight in Luxor.

  • Very early in the morning, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a sunrise hot air balloon ride over Luxor, offering breathtaking views of the West Bank, the Nile, and the surrounding farmlands as the sun rises over the ancient landscape (Optional).

     

  • After the balloon ride, or after breakfast at your hotel if you choose not to participate, cross the Nile to explore Luxor’s West Bank.

     

  • Begin at the Valley of the Kings, where royal tombs were carved deep into the desert hills and decorated with detailed scenes reflecting ancient beliefs about the afterlife.

     

  • Continue to the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a striking monument built into the cliffs of Deir El-Bahari and dedicated to one of Egypt’s most powerful rulers.

     

  • Stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues that once stood at the entrance of a grand royal temple.

  • After breakfast, head back to the West Bank to explore two of Luxor’s most impressive and well-preserved mortuary temples.

     

  • Visit Medinet Habu, the mortuary temple of Ramses III, known for its massive walls and vividly carved reliefs depicting military victories and religious scenes.

     

  • Continue to the Ramesseum, the memorial temple of Ramses II, where the remains of a fallen colossal statue reflect the grandeur of ancient royal ambition.

     

  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.

     

  • Overnight in Luxor.

  • After breakfast, travel by comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle from Luxor to Aswan, enjoying scenic views along the Nile Valley.

     

  • Upon arrival, visit the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis and carefully relocated to Agilkia Island to protect it from flooding.

     

  • Continue to the Aswan High Dam, one of Egypt’s most significant modern engineering achievements.

     

  • Visit the Unfinished Obelisk, offering insight into the ancient stone-carving techniques used by Egyptian craftsmen.

     

  • Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant  

     

  • After lunch at a local restaurant, you may choose to visit a Nubian village to experience local culture and traditional hospitality (optional).

     

  • Overnight in Aswan.

     

  • Early in the morning, you have the option to join an excursion to the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples, one of Egypt’s most iconic monuments, carved during the reign of Ramses II (optional).

     

  • In the afternoon, experience a peaceful felucca boat ride along the Nile, sailing past granite rocks and lush riverbanks while enjoying the calm atmosphere of southern Egypt.

     

  • After lunch at a local restaurant, return to your hotel and enjoy free time.

     

  • Overnight in Aswan.

  • After breakfast, explore Elephantine Island, home to ancient ruins and a fascinating museum that highlights the island’s historical role and Nubian heritage.

     

  • After the visit, enjoy free time before departure.

     

  • At the appropriate time, our representative will transfer you to Aswan Airport or the train station for your onward journey.
